What this view covers

Body paragraphs, headings, basic lists and table cells. Two-file mode uses each document’s revised text. Tracked mode derives original and revised body text from native insertions, deletions, moves and paragraph boundaries.

This is a text comparison, not a Word layout or formatting review. Comments, notes, headers, footers, images, text boxes and equations are outside scope. List numbering can be simplified; merged table cells and advanced revisions have limits. Documents with unsupported structural cell revisions are rejected.

Limits: 10 MB per file, 32 MB expanded ZIP, 4 MB per XML part, 6,000 paragraphs and 350,000 text characters per projection. Broad or complex differences may use whole-paragraph highlighting.

Downloaded comparison reports contain document text. Store them where you would store the original files.
