A Love-Hate Relationship with Economics

As I entered IIT Kanpur, I found myself drawn to the intellectual allure of economics, a subject I believed would shape my future. The prospect of using data and statistics to explain why you can't always get what you want seemed a challenge worth pursuing. So began my love affair with economics, an encounter which, in hindsight, was like getting a pet porcupine – interesting, but a little prickly.
